I'm a fan of good black coffee, and not a fan of over-roasted coffee from that one massive chain. Anchor and Anvil has excellent coffee, and additionally has a great selection of whole beans for purchase from a variety of roasters, some local. It's usually easy to find close street parking. The atmosphere is bright and clean, with some cozy chairs in the corner.

I needed a cup of joe and this place provided. The atmosphere is clean and trendy without being stuffy. The coffee was thankfully not that super dark roast, but rather a clean crip medium body roast with actual coffee flavor. (I do black coffee - no sweetener or cream)
TBH I didn’t stay to drink or eat. The area is a little rundown and there were just a couple locals in the place and I was looking for a place to work for a few hours. Looked nice though

Cute place and the barista was nice. I got one of the special hot lattes which was very good. Lots of seating!
Loooove the garage doors! Such a sweet and quiet place to grab a coffee and/or do some work. We got the smokestack latte and a chai tea. Both were very good! No vegan options for pastries but they do have plant based milk options.
Great place to stop and get a great cup of coffee. There hot coffee is the best I have had in a long time. The seating is great for getting work done. Great prices as well on there coffee and teas. The baristas have always been very friendly to me and they have a neat rewards system too. Definitely recommend if you are coming through Coraopolis or want a great cup of coffee!
